New Jersey is now officially challenging the federal ban on sports betting as Gov. Chris Christie has signed the bill legalizing it in the Garden State.
Christie also has signed the bill that experiments with horserace betting in taverns.
The bill establishes a pilot program in which up to 12 bars in select counties will be permitted up to 20 betting terminals each.
