IGT sued to assure that the US Department of Justice does not enforce its 2018 opinion that the Wire Act bans all online gaming transactions across state lines, not just sports betting. IGT wants to make sure the court decisions in New Hampshire's case that overturned the 2018 opinion will extend to all jurisdictions.
