GAN’s first quarter included exceptional growth of gross operator revenue as New Jersey sports betting benefited from the Super Bowl and NCAA basketball tournament, CEO Dermot Smurfit said.

Sports betting, real-money gaming and Simulated Gaming revenue all hit record levels in the quarter.

Gross operator revenue grew 148.3 percent to $59.1 million over last year and 41.4 percent over the fourth quarter.

Active player days rose 65.6 percent over last year to 5.281 million and 14.4 percent sequentially.

Average revenue per daily active user increased 23.8 percent over the fourth quarter to $11.20.
