ALL’s leased premium games are indexing at 2.73 times zone average and wide-area progressives at 2.57 times.

Lightning Link and Dragon Link now account for more than 40 percent of estimated gross win from premium games, the report shows.

There could again be 10 casinos in Atlantic City if owner Bart Blatstein has his way.

New Jersey Casino Control Commission has approved Blatstein’s statement of compliance, a step towards licensing.

Blatstein plans to build a new casino structure on a more than 120,000 square foot lot he purchased at the northeast of the Showboat, which lets him circumvent a deed restriction for gambling at the property, he said.

Showboat Owner Wants to Bring Another Casino to Atlantic City

My comment:

Bart Blatstein, owner of the Showboat, is approaching Atlantic City's revival in a more realistic way. Recently, New Jersey has added sports betting but instead of using sports parlors to create more casino visitors, we have instead chosen to add it to our online gaming options so there is little reason to visit a live casino. That is unless there is a star performer or live event taking place in the city.

Will Las Vegas Sands and Wynn Resorts Survive the End of the Adelson-Wynn Era?

My comment:

Ken Adams is absolutely correct, that both Wynn Resorts and Las Vegas Sands will continue to develop quality destination resorts. I know both men well, helping to convince Steve, in March 1978, that an investment in Atlantic City was a no-brainer, and with Sheldon, I joined LVS as his President/COO in 1990, during the construction of the Sands Expo Center, providing my casino contacts to get the necessary resort hotel rooms, to house 170,000 Comdex exhibitors and attendees.
